Standard materials of construction are iron bodies with stainless internals and epoxy coating in/out.

In addition VSI offers many options including surge suppressing valves, throttling exhaust, SS316 internals, stainless bodies, and more.  These air valves should be placed at system high points, changes in grade, or where accumulation of air or gasses are expected during filling, would collect during normal operation, or where vacuums would form when draining the system.
